The Perfect Tenants
Before Christmas, I spent hours browsing in the Vortex of The Internet for a dollhouse that was neither plastic nor chintzy Victorian kit (full post here), and while searching I stumbled across these darling little creatures. "The perfect tenants!"
Wooden, charming, and sturdy, these Ostheimer figurines are as cute as they are clever. Milo loves to carry them around the house, barking and sniffing and tapping at will. Alice prefers to stack them into ingenious towers, proving their creative problem-solving value as well as their adorable appearance. Major Mama-Little cred in this house!
Antje of ideenreichBerlin was so kind to work with, and I can't wait to receive our next order (a pretty penny for international shipping). We're bringing home some polar bears, a kangaroo, and a peppy puppy ready to pounce! And a few rabbits are coming as an Easter present :)
