Now that we have fully enjoyed our Thanksgiving, it's time to begin the anticipation of Christmas and all that goes with it!
The Friday morning after Thanksgiving dawned bitter and white, and we were only too happy to cozy up and deck the halls. The aroma of JD's dark roast espresso scented the air and Vince Guaraldi's Christmas jazz tickled our ears while we opened boxes and exclaimed over precious little ornaments we had forgotten about since we packed them away. Milo was especially entranced by the lights and the act of draping the tree with tiny objects and subsequently wanted to play with everything I took out. With a collection of empty boxes littering the floor and an equally empty coffee mug, the tree was declared finished and a beautiful sight to behold.
I adore getting to share Christmas-time with Alice & Milo. The traditions, the magic, the miracle. What an exciting thing to pass down.
